Head & Neck

A Word on Head and Neck Pain

Recent studies indicate that up to 70% of individuals will experience neck pain in their lifetime with many cases turning chronic (long lasting).

Physical Therapy has a high level of success as a treatment option for those suffering from neck pain and in many cases will have better outcomes than surgery.

There are many factors that can lead to neck pain and dysfunction and that is why it is important to have a licensed and well trained health care provider evaluate your case to determine the sources of your pain and create a plan of care that is best for you.

The Physical Therapy Difference

At Solid Rock, our physical therapists are well trained in assessing the biomechanics of your head and neck.  We look at alignment and joint movement along with the dynamics of the soft tissue within the neck to help determine not only where your pain is coming from, but what is at the heart of the cause.

We use hands on assessment techniques and treatment to help restore joint movement and mobility, improving the health of your joints and optimizing your motor control and strength in the activities that matter most to you.

At Solid Rock we want to teach you how to take care of your head and neck, giving you the tools that you need to live a life free of neck pain and headaches.
